Here's the second of at least four 2026-27 preseason Field of 76 projections, with the final version coming on Halloween weekend. An * denotes the automatic qualifier in a multiple-bid conference. For now, the automatic qualifiers are the schools with the most NCAA Tournament appearances (per conference) since the 1999-2000 season. I'll tweak the AQs as we learn more about free agency pick-ups throughout the spring and summer.

I hope they add some quality players. I want to keep taking road trips to watch them.. I hope they can get a couple Power 4 games…
 

I gotta’ believe they have something up their sleeve. Had to be a Plan B and Plan C in place.

As it stands now, should have a better chance of getting a couple power conference opponents. Mostly an unproven roster, nowhere near as dangerous.

Certainly seems like an ideal time for Niko to start some kind of a scheduling agreement with JT?
