Interesting discussion over there. For better or worse, Bo has won with size and skill and less athleticism than most teams. Size and skill will get it done, and it plays well to both the offensive (swing) and defensive systems they run. The Badgers will get it back together before the end of the year, and those a-holes on that board will be back to their usual drunken boasting.
 

Pitino on KFAN right now. They'll replay it in the 5 o'clock hour as well.

Apparently making the rounds today. He is appearing on ESPN 1500 at 4:15. He was on with Judd and Souhan earlier today (podcast).

Also -- Norwood is on KFAN right now. (coming out very strongly against the Virginia Tech rumors)
 



Re watching the game on BTN. Can't believe how slow Becky is defending off the screen. It is like they're wearing ankle weights. Also watching Sam Dekker. He does a lot of cheap stuff off the ball. He may end up being as hated as
X Badger Sam Oakie who played back in the late 70's. The kid was the ultimate cheap shot artist.

Is anyone else tired already of the "when is Pitino going to leave" bit? How about we enjoy the season, and continue to cheer on these Gophers? In the end, doesn't a coach want a successful program that has a chance year in and year out with good facilities? We are working on those and once Pitino gets some players from his system in here I believe we will be a perennial top 10-20 team or better depending on the recruits coming in. Seriously tired of people wondering when he is going to leave. He's only been here for half a season!

It would have been nice for these guys to see this first before the committed elsewhere! I bet they would have loved to play this style
 

Its just fun to see all the different ways this team is winning games. Run in gun jacking all kinds of 3's, pressing from start to finish, zone the whole game against ohio st, slowing it down running clock against Wisconsin with great half court defense, getting down for our post game against Wisconsin. Its just fun to see a coach coach. Find a weakness in your opponent and go after it.

Exactly! Love watching this team!
 

Malik can still work on his defense though. Otherwise he is a great producer on the offensive end.
