If you don't have a football team, there's a good chance that no one will know your school even exists. It's surprising that a school with an enrollment of 30,000 doesn't have a team. Averaging 18,000 for the first year isn't bad at all, and that Alabama paycheck can't hurt. It wouldn't surprise me to see them move up to the FBS after a while, they might be a good option for C-USA.
