I'm going with the opener in Primetime with a team that was ranked top 20 as late as week 9 last year. We're going to win that game and set the tone for a season that will exceed expecations!

As a sidebar to this, does USC have the same clout that they used to? I feel like they're a more modern example of Nebraska's fall. Expectations are high within their program and they get constant love from the media before every season, but what have they done lately? I'd love to see us start a winning tradition against them like we have Nebraska.

USC hasn't hit the highs of their storied history in the past decade and a half....sure. But they've had a lot of very good teams....even if they haven't been competing for a NC. Tough to compare them with Nebraska.....who are unfortunately stuck in Nebraska compared to Southern California.

We'll find out pretty quickly how good the PAC teams really are after a slog through the B10 schedule

Considering the B10 scooped up the premier football programs....I think they'll be fine. It'll be interesting to see if any are able to challenge Ohio State and Michigan for the top of the conference year in and year out. If I had to wager a guess.....I'd bet that Oregon and USC settle in closer to that Penn State level....where they live just a shade below.

I personally think Michigan is going to slide this year and USC is going to surprise people. And obviously (assuming both are undefeated at game time) I'm very much looking forward to the buckeyes in Autzen this fall

How dare you put my Ducks down with U$C... ;)

Can’t make the opener.
Assuming the team can beat Nevada and Rhode Island we will learn a lot about this team for the Iowa game

I chose Iowa. Home game, with our border rival. Gotta hold on to Floyd.

I'm going to the Big House in September. I'm not holding my breath or counting it as a big game in my mind. I'm expecting that we get throttled. But I've never seen a game there, and I'll be with my two sons, brother and brother-in-law. I'm looking forward to the experience as much as the game.

It'll be an interesting year, everyone talks about how tough this new conference is going to be for us but it's going to be a gauntlet for everyone, including those at the top. There are that many more good teams to play against

We need a late November snowstorm game here vs one of the California schools.
They have a little experience with bad weather from playing in Pulman late in the year.
Granted, they typically don't do well in cold weather. Pulman is wind blown and cold late in the fall

In the big ten, there aren’t many awful teams either. Even the bad teams typically are organized and have their stuff together

I voted for "The "Unwinnable" Games Against Powers Michigan and Penn State", because at the moment I feel very optimistic about this team and think we're going to surprise a lot of folks with how good we are. I think we'll still be the underdogs in these games, but not by as much as is currently predicted.

This feeling may change fast depending on how the first few games go, haha.

Today it's Carolina. After Carolina it would probably be USC due to the newness and to see how the U measures up against the rest of the country's big names. Until they get into the conference for a while they still seem like foreigners.
