yeah

Imagine the how the people that won 5 games feel about their coordinators

70% of college football is upset
120th in scoring offense and 76th in scoring defense. We luckily played four of the bottom five teams in the Big Ten, and in three of those games looked terrible. We have a lot of work to do.

I’m glad you cleared that up because I’m pretty sure they weren’t going to try to get better

This is just another totally biased poll.

All options are assuming that some one or more should be removed or demoted. It has a completely negative bias.

Why is there at least not an option of: No one?

Some of you poll people try to be sly little devils don’t you?
Really?
My vote is No one. Staff management is TOTALLY up to the head coach.
It’s just an opinion and the poster isn’t bequeathing us hiring/firing powers, is he?

It’s a poll on a free anonymous chat board, so 🤷‍♂️

Which brings us back to my original point they can try and try and try, but if they don’t have the wherewithal who cares we are going to continue to struggle.

Every team struggles except Ohio State

I’d fire Kevin Kane just for the fact that he vouched for the Purdue DT that didn’t play a snap because he hid a back injury.

But if we just wanted it more we'd be Ohio State!
I assume everyone who thinks we should fired everyone also think beliema should fire everyone considering they were a win against impotent Wisconsin away from 9-3

And another win against a team who lost so impotent Wisconsin away from the playoff

And last year they blew it against the gophers to miss the playoff bubble

Even teams that struggle angainst Blue Bloods are good at certain phases of the game when playing every other team. This Minnesota team wasn’t consistently good at any of the three phases of the game. There’s definitely room for improvement for the coaching staff.

Do you think Illinois should fire everyone too?

I don’t think MN or Illinois should fire everyone but MN was seriously lacking this season and a lot of the issues, at least on defense, appeared to be coaching based.

Agree
Somehow it’s offensive to some people to say that doesn’t mean fire people

I wouldn’t be offended if there were changes either.

Given the performance of the defense, it would probably be a mistake if all options weren’t on the table.

Agree.
I don’t like the offensive scheme generally but I see what they’re trying to do.

Defensively I hate the scheme. And the scheme is run poorly.
Good teams and smart teams kicked the gophers asses up and down the field. Bad teams and dumb teams couldn’t take advantage

This was one of the worst rushing seasons in Gopher history. Third lowest rushing yards per game since 1955 (that’s as far back as CFB Reference tracks the stats), one of the lowest yards per carry in history, and we ranked in the 120s-130s in rushing statistics across the country. Last years rushing attack was very marginally better. Something has got to change because that cannot continue if we want to have a shot against the better teams in the conference.

How many rushing attempts were there? The short passing game seems to be replacing the running game to a certain extent for better or for worse. I think it fit pretty well with Drake’s development as a freshman qb witth the variety of defenses he was exposed to in this 2025 season. Iowa in kinnick, Oregon in their stadium and Ohio State in their Horseshoe. Certainly Drew lit it up against NU in the chewing gum baseball stadium. He certainly had progressed from his Cal experience. And I thought his B1G games at the Bank Stadium showed great promise.

Running backs who were injured and not available for a number of games also impacted and influenced and dictated limits to the running game vs the short passing game…for better or for worse, imho.
