Now that the regular season is over, which assistant coaches do you think should be canned or demoted from their current role?

Multiple selections are allowed. Only 10 poll options are allowed, so I excluded Mariano Sori-Marin (LBs) and Eric Koehler (TEs).

We’re about cultural sustainability and I trust the HC to make the decisions he feels are needed. If it’s none, I’m fine with it.

Northwestern and California are games that were there to be won. Both were combo of coaching and player issues.

Oregon, tOSU, Iowa were bad in a rebuilding year. Last year was way more disappointing.

This is just another totally biased poll.

All options are assuming that some one or more should be removed or demoted. It has a completely negative bias.

Why is there at least not an option of: No one?

Some of you poll people try to be sly little devils don’t you?

My vote is No one. Staff management is TOTALLY up to the head coach.

That option exists by not voting

I'm wholeheartedly opposed to getting rid of Collins, as I think he's vital to the fact that we have several safeties in the NFL and I'm sure he knows thay position better than anyone else we could want. That being said, this season was a very subpar coming out party for him at DC. If we can get interest from an established defensive coordinator, I feel like we hit that hard and demote Collins back to safety coach exclusively. If that's not an option, give him another go.

I know nothing about offensive line coaching but this year was awful and it didn't seem like adjustments were made to deal with some clear deficiencies early on in the season. Might want to consider a better option than Callahan.

No. If my only vote is not to vote and the results of a totally biased poll remain posted, disinformation will be promoted on this message board.

I do not agree with the construction of this poll. It assumes that a member or multiple members of this staff should be removed because a few disgruntled fans think they are playing: “… Fantasy fire a coach football…”

Good thing this poll doesn’t mayter

Someone can look up the stat of the insane amount of years the Gophers hadn't had a single OL drafted. They've developed Faalele, JMS, Ersery into NFL OL recently. Plus Daniels poached by Ohio State, Lewis starting at Northwestern.

Yes, this year was rough but IMO people need to lighten up and let them regroup for next year.

Concur.
Offensive line play has been a strength prior to this year.
I don't think Callahan is an issue. Personnel misses were.

Collin’s is a great recruiter and he’s sent quite a few safeties into the league. Can’t forget about how important good recruiters are for a program like the U. By all accounts he’s who got Koi here.

Something has to happen on defense. Team was great at racking up sacks, but the yardage they gave up doesn't lie. I don't know that's due to coaching, overall talent, or just a bad mix of talent.

PJ hired unqualified OC and DC. We suffered from it this year and we will likely suffer for it again next year.

A top 50 roster went 7-5

I am not quite sure what you want.

I am more down on the coaching staff for the OL and the LB and DB depth than the schemes

WR has been one of the weakest positions for years. No idea why he doesn't catch more heat.
WR is weird…. I get the vibe that there’s talent there but gameday it kinda vanishes at times.

Probably because the other Co-OC is sabotaging him by calling bad plays

If co-OC Simon was calling it they’d be all American

A team serious about winning at a high level doesnt offer Collins the DC position, and certainly doesnt retain him if they did.

Collins is in year 1. He should be let go if the defense does not improve, though. That said I think Callahan and Harbaugh should be gone.
