So, where does she stand now after this less than stellar season? Good, Bad or indifferent?

Need's more athletic post and good athletes like Mckinney. I think the system is in place and shows signs of improvement. Big 10 is now the most competitive conference in country. The 2026 player Orlhein is a really good shooter. I would like to have seen how this season would have went with a healthy Woodson and Braun.

Personally I think these coaches are teaching the right things.

We will have at least 5 new players counting Bruan, Woodson, and the 2 freshmen. So, room for only one or two more, depending on portal action.

Caitlin Clark put us "Big Ten" on a pedestal and if it wasn't for USC and UCLA we would've been just another mid-tier conference. Ohio State and Maryland aren't challenging any of the top teams and Iowa's offense can only take them so far.

I can say with a high level of confidence that she is the second-best coach we’ve ever had, behind only Frese, and I’m thankful we have her. She will get the most out of whomever she is coaching. I think we will see a steady improvement in recruiting as well. There really is no limit to what this program can become if we can be competitive with other B1G programs in this revenue-sharing/NIL environment. The program will be in very good hands if she chooses to remain here.

Injuries and inheriting lack of athletes did her in this season but future looks better

From the beginning to the end of the season, did individual players improve? Did the team as a team improve?

This is her 2nd season and has been without Braun for a majority of the 2 season and without a key reserve in Woodson. I'm excited to see how next season goes and with her recruits coming in, the team will continue to improve.

Need to find more offense as clearly big 10 good offenses are beating our defense. Washington was able to pick apart our D and get any shot they wanted for most of the game. This team without Braun and Woodson has the talent to be an NCAA team. Had Braun and Woodson stayed heathy you would be looking to get to at least the sweet 16.

Some of her lineup decisions are baffling, taking Heyer out who was the best player in the 1st half 3 minutes of the 2nd half to put in Klick and Holloway who hadnt played all game didnt make any sense, Gophers went from 4 down to 16 down in like 4 minutes then Heyer came back in and the lead got back down to like 6 but the game was basically decided by that stretch with her on the bench.

The BIG10 is the third competitive conference in the country. The SEC in far and away the most athletic and competitive conference.
1. SEC
2. ACC
3. BIG10
4. BIG12
5 BIG EAST

She can coach, but she needs to recruit better.
Yes, do think she is a good coach, but just like players, need to make adjustments. Needs to find time to focus on offense and not just defense.

Did do well in the Summit League with South Dakota. Defense was probably ok for main focus in the Summit League those years.

1 year at West Virginia - squeaked into NCAA just like we may have a chance this year. Seems that team also at WV struggled to score in their conference schedule. Last year WV with Mark Kellogg out performed and made to 2nd round of NCAA and this year they are 23-6 and well on their way and higher scoring.

2 years here, the offense has been a struggle. She brought in, of the ones playing, Stewart, GG, Tori, Johnson, Rose. Heyer, Battle were top recruits and have lots of talent. She has seen now two years in a row, yes D is important, but the W goes to the one who scores the most points and big 10 teams can score as have lots of talent!

You want to fill seats, higher scoring teams are more exciting to watch(Iowa is a good example, and a few more tougher schedule non conference games for team and fans to get excited about. Has to be tough to blow out many in non conference then have awaking in the conference schedule. Her saying is FIND A WAY! I hope she finds a way to get more offense and not just be about trying to get stops.

Rah!
