For the first several years, he didn't even give yardage markers as guys ran downfield. After complaints he started doing it.
I'm used to pxp guys giving descriptions of a run which each mean different things "dashes, cuts, scrambles, hurdles, leaps, dives, etc.".
With PA we get "spurts".
I don't listen to him while watching TV because I really can't handle the way he calls a game, and as others have mentioned, what he says often does not match the action at all.
What you envision from listening to him does not match the game closely in most cases.
