Contrary to first impressions, Gophers football coach Jerry Kill said the last impressions coming from Saturday's spring game would be the ones he likely would keep heading into next season.
Kill got to watch about 90 players go through around 100 snaps in a scrimmage setting in front of an estimated 10,100 spectators at TCF Bank Stadium.
"Sometimes the last thing you see sticks in your head," Kill said earlier this week. "So it's important that these guys step it up, and we see if they are ready to play in the Big Ten because we need depth right now.
