- This explains why the spread was not successful with this staff. Go ask any spread coach in the country if they think their linemen can play physical out of the spread (universal answer = yes). The Brewster coaching staff let the media and critics decide that they couldn't be physical running the spread. Good Riddance to these guys. So you can be physical running inside zone out of pistol, you can't be physical running inside zone read out of a non-balanced gun? Got it.....Morons
