Rivals hasn't updated its Florida figures for 2014, but a newspaper in Florida that tracks Division I signees put the state's 2014 total at 373. Rivals reported eight Minnesotans were Division I signees.
"There are a lot of players down here," Minnesota coach Jerry Kill said. "A lot of people go in there and select; we've got to recruit. Sometimes you got to research them and find what you want. We've been fortunate to pull the right ones out of here."
