Hopefully GopherLady or someone else captured some great pics from Bootleggers.

Great pics, gopher bandana guy - thanks for sharing! We did have many photos from Bootleggers, but not many are GH appropriate! :)

Oh, we do have one appropriate one, here you go!

Gopher crowd?

Was it a good turnout in Milwaukee by Gopher fans, or was it weak? Didn't see a lot of maroon & gold through the TV. Just curious. Thanks.

Gopher fan representation was WEAK. Maybe it was just because I ended up getting seats right next to the Xavier section, but it sure seemed like they had just as many fans there. Also, the Xavier fans were much louder than the Gopher fans. FYI, for those who were on the fence but didn't end up going, my buddy and I were able to get two lower level seats (in the middle rows, corner section, great view) for $50 a piece. We scalped them 25 minutes before tip-off. We got to the Bradley Center an hour before tip. When we first got there the asking price was $200 a piece for upper level and there were no lower level tickets to be found. By the time we went in brokers had showed up with stacks of lower level seats and they were going for face value ($75). We ended up gettin ours from a Gopher fan who was willing to give fellow Minnesota fans a discount.

I think 'weak' is a little harsh, when referring to our fan rep. I'm fairly certain we had more fans than anyone else there in the 1st Session, we just didn't have a whole lot to cheer for in the 2nd half. If you look at this photo, you can see there was quite a bit of Maroon and Gold in the upper deck, and none of the other 3 teams really had a presence up there at all.

I actually thought we had fairly good fan representation. I sat across from the "gopher sections" and behind the team bench. From my viewpoint there was a good deal of maroon and gold randomly scattered throughout the stadium. If we had all sat in the same area, I think we would have doubled our section size.

I definitely agree with this. There was a lot of random maroon and gold throughout the arena. I remember sitting where I was (see pics) and looking left, right, and behind me, and seeing several Gopher fans scattered in all directions, just in my section alone.

Yeah, I was there in the upper deck. X definitely had a louder, more pumped section of fans (and yes they did have more to cheer about) but outside of those sections only a handful of X fans were to be found. The U had a decent contingent in the 'gopher sections' but the U oldies were sitting and silent more than the X oldies, and the U students in the upper deck were good, but not as vocal as the X students.
There were many, many gopher fans scattered throughout the place......scalped tickets, no doubt. All in all, it was a little disappointing, but I'm glad we were able to make it.
