PPD Standings after 11/17/09 Games

We've now dropped below .500 with a dismal 4-24-3 showing Tuesday. Kansas, Michigan State and Georgetown failed to cover the spread ... and a lot of 1 or 2 picks also contributed to the 24 losses. Just four wins -- congrats to Gold Out, GopherHarvey, GopherKev and Ncgo4 for the only wins.


Other comments:
  • Iowa and Dusquesne ended up a push with Iowa being 2 point underdogs and losing by exactly that margin. Plinnius and ATTF just went "uh-huh"
  • The USC (-10) pick also ended up as a push.
  • Kansas was the consensus pick but failed to cover its -10 spread. Memphis lost by just 2 in a pretty good game. No matter whether GopherLady picked Izzo or Self, she was doomed tonight.
  • Hawaii's game with N. Colorado was played at 4AM EST Tuesday ... had to look at Monday's scores to find the result. They lost despite being favored by 8.5.
  • Georgia (-3) loses by 3 to Wofford. I know -- Wofford!
  • ATTF -- If I ever pick Drake again this season, just shoot me and put me out of my misery. As I said, it's going to be another 38 years. Go Keno! (and he did). Shoulda stayed with my first pick of Long Beach State. ... :eek:
  • Today's Picks: 4 wins, 24 losses and 3 pushes for a 0.143 Won-Loss ratio.
