The competition is pretty simple but please check The Rules if you have any questions or aren't sure how to proceed. Also, please note that you must make a pick at least once every three weeks to remain in the competition. There's more in an Announcement about when we will shift to two divisions, etc. You can also send me a Personal Message or e-mail if any questions or problems.

Please use the colon after your moniker ... I use a macro to enter your picks on a spreadsheet and the macro relies on the colon to get it properly entered.

Reminders -- per the earlier announcement:
  • We split into two divisions on 12/15: The Steady Selectors (who make picks for 2/3rds of the available dates) and the Laid Back Pickers. You'll need to have at least 28 picks on 12/15 to make it into the Steady Selectors ... if you're close, you'll move into that division if you step up your pace and hit the 2/3rds mark.
  • If you don't make a pick for 2-3 weeks, your account will be "retired" and you'll need to check with me before participating again.
  • New participants are welcome any time through 12/31. After that date, you'll need to send me a private message and we'll talk.

  • Wisconsin (-5 over UW-Green Bay) loses by 5 in OT (84-88). Wisconsin was the consensus choice, picked by 9. In fact, I first picked Harvard but thought about picking Wisconsin until deciding to stay with my first intuition. Good call since ...
  • Harvard, an 11.5 underdog, visits Boston College, wins by 7. The Crimson lost by only 6 in their last game versus UConn.
  • Kansas is favored by 31.5 over Radford and wins by 35 to cover (99-64). On the flip side, Hofstra plays Manhattan (the Jaspers) and wins 44-39 ... neither team shot over 40% but Hofstra failed to cover (-7).
  • Vegas gave Valpo +23 ... Purdue beat 'em by 24.
  • West Virginia clobbered Duequesne 69-38.
  • Utah beats Michigan in a pick 'em, 52-68.
  • 'Nova beats our next opponent by only 8 and fails to cover (97-89).
  • RoyalGO4 gets the push with his pick of San Diego (+4) against New Mexico (82-78)
  • Today's Picks: 13 wins, 14 losses and 1 pushes for a 0.481 Won-Loss ratio.
