Thank god General Grant didn't ok those alternative road uniforms during the Civil War. They were popular with the troops, but very confusing on the battlefield.

While I don't care for these particular uniforms, it is nice to see the athletic department and Nike as well investing in being creating and trying new things. I do give them credit for that, just don't find this particular effort all that appealing.

FOF. I like the look so long as we never try to be Oregon. Completely disagree this program will tread water. Having talked with both coaches over the past 10 years Coach Stallings has already and will continue to recruit better than Borton ever did. She also is superior in player development and game management . I am optimistic about their future.

I see the Illini (you remember: navy & orange) football team stole the anthracite look this weekend. It took me awhile to figure out why Ohio State had an I on their helmet. Maybe we should change to the "Chameleons" and wear every opponents colors just to confuse them.
