Carter 2nd team DT, SoriMarin 2nd team LB, Rush 3rd team DE...

Iowa with 4, PU, IL, NE, NW all with 3, WI with 1. PSU 4, MSU 3, RU 2.

Fleck says Gopher safeties may be among best in league...

but Howden, Nubin, Walley et al all overlooked here.

Surprised Walley is on there somewhere

In his commentary on Minnesota, Steele says Walley should be one of best, so, yeah.

And, Steele's own numbers put MN secondary as #17 in nation (PSU 4, IA 7, OSU 14, Gophs ahead of MI at 20, In at 23, WI 25, PU 33, MSU 46, NE 56, IL 57...rest of big not in top 64).

He also notes Gophs finished #10 in the nation in his own pass defense ranking, and he notes returns all starters but Durr, and adds solid transfers in Bishop (All-CUSA) and Stapp from where we found Gibbens (Abilene Christian).

Nubin is really good, Howden is a very solid veteran, Dixon will help somewhere and be a difference maker.

From Shama: Lindy's has safety Tyler Nubin and punter Mark Crawford earning third team defense recognition along with Sori-Marin.
