Kirk on Iowa: best defense he's seen in a while, they don't have a weakness, Parker is a great coach, great consistency year to year, great scheme, recruit to scheme, they are like a machine, you think next year they will be down and then here they go again. They are always really good, but this year they are outstanding. No holes, no weak links. Really, really well coached.
Run a lot of zone. DBs keep eyes on QB. Great fundamental db play. They stay above you, you think you can get 5-7 yard unders but they drive on ball, contest. Solid quarters coverage designed to prevent the deep ball. Always good pash rush.
