Here are a few tidbits from Phil Miller:
Ryan Collado watching practice today. Does the former CB miss it? "Oh yeah, I miss it ... Well, not practice." He's got a CFL offer.
After snapping @ him in huddle, Kill had long talk w/McKnight post practice. Guessing he's looking for sr leadership. All seemed well after.
Da'Jon McKnight goes down early holding L knee, then watches rest of practice w/ice on knee. Looked OK at 1st, soon limping as it stiffened.
Nobody (inc Kill) seemed worried, and McK stayed for rest of workout. Even if not serious, has to make Gopher fans gulp. He's indispensable.
Jimmy Gjere sat out after taking hard hit on Saturday.
Friday weather forecast iffy; Gophers considering what to do with 7:15 stadium practice, hyped w/U students, if it rains. Or - ugh - snows.
