Perich at safety

Did Perich get in at safety? If not, why not? You should have your most talented players in the game. I watched pretty closely and didn’t notice him out there.
 



Maybe PJ is afraid to have other teams see his talents to save losing him to more money.
 

What have we got to lose? Let him learn by playing...he'll take some lumps but we may as well play him.

He didn’t play any series, but seems like he was in on most 3rd downs and medium-to-long yardage situation. I agree with you I wish he would play more but also think they are easing him in. He was a bit behind not having spring ball and dealing with his hamstring issue.
 

He is faster than Jack Henderson I can tell you that. I would rather have Henderson playing in #45 spot at LB than at FS or SS. #45 has a huge brace on his arm, so that tells you he has an elbow injury or tricep type injury. We missed Gousby #7 on Saturday. I like Perich getting in the rotations some.
 

The Gophers are headed for another losing season. You may as well play Perich and enjoy what you have for 1 year because i'm sure there will be an exodus after the season. Good players don't want to stick around in a program headed in the wrong direction. We'll be lucky if we hold on to Perich, DT and Drake L. Losing any of those 3 would be massive.
