Peacock is raising rates again, so it will cost more to watch those games that end up on Peacock.

Protest. or wait until they are on BTN a few days later as a rerun?

It seemed like even repeats on BTN of Gopher Peacock games were sporadic.

Even though I could currently get it for free through my provider, I have not bothered.

Stuff like this lawsuit news from earlier this week is just another reason to pass.

Just give me all the games on one platform. Don't make me chase around several platforms to find the game I want to watch. Don't make me sign up for 4-5 free trials and then have to remember to cancel them. I don't care what platform it is, just give me a "all games on one platform" option. End of Rant.

Preaching to the choir.

Go Gophers!!

Well, this is what happens when you have an 18-team league and you want to show all of the in-conference games. Even before the admission of the four west coast teams, the league's telecasts weren't all on one platform. What I like about Peacock is that you don't have to wait until another game concludes to watch your game.

The "one platform" argument is nice and all, but I fear it will be botched the way the Minnesota Twins TV is. (i.e. It's not really one platform thanks to MLB)

There are 18 Big Ten football games during opening non-conference weekend. How would you propose getting all 18 games on one platform?

My wife and daughter watch stuff on peacock so we already had it anyway. But I do miss the days when everything was on MSC or regular TV on Saturdays and Sunday mornings that’s the way it should be. It is bullshit to chase games around.

So wait until the last week of the football season for a deal and miss all the games? I suppose waiting until Black Friday works if you only want to watch Big Ten hoops.
I have the same issue. I think my annual subscription auto renews around November 1st. I guess the move is to cancel that and switch to monthly until the Black Friday deals.

I get Peacock, Netflix, and Apple TV on a 3/$15 per month deal with Xfinity. I don't know if that's still available or not, but my rate has yet to increase.

Although it's Division 2, the CCAA in California generally had 6 games on Thursdays and 6 games on Saturday's. Men's/women's double-headers. For awhile it was a CCAA network. Last year it was Flo Network. Pay a monthly fee and you could choose between which games you wanted to watch. Locally produced by the home team school. Obviously production varied greatly from school to school, both camera and announcer-wise, but at least you knew exactly where to go to get your game. Only needed to sign up for one platform, get all the games! I look at Big 10+. I'm fine with that level as long as I know that everything is going to be there, as opposed to spread out all over the place. I don't get all upset about student announcer quality or content like some fans do. If they're terrible, I just turn 'em down and watch the game with Live Stats up.

Well, I suppose the Big Ten could put all the games on the BTN overflow channels or on BTN+ all at the same time. But, then they won't get those big checks from FOX and CBS. They like the checks.

Yep. I realize that pretty much everything out there is more about money than about serving customers and customer satisfaction.

I can be stubborn and I am not sure why this is the issue I decided to put my foot down on, but I will skip watching games vs. buying another streaming device. I have YoutubeTV, Netflix, Disney+, and Prime - if it isn't on there, I am not watching it!
