Edit: I was told that Payne is the next great TE by a "Little Birdie..." * I mean friend.

* Didn't want to get sued by a local columnist and avid Gopher fan.
He loses the ball too easily so feel like he'd be a bad TE. DE is his place.

Back to the subject of his FTs, I suspect he and the coaches have worked on them. There are some notable big men who suffered from the line throughout their careers, to name a few: Wilt, Shaq, Giannis. Perhaps someday he will deserve mention in the same sentence as those for other aspects of his game.

His offensive game is limited, and his shot could use work, he will improve
