Past running backs from this coaching staff..
Due to an unfortunate injury it looks like another one of Kill's Salukis will be the starting running back for Jacksonville. Most of you are familiar with SIU's Brandon Jacobs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQRSyAerIi8&feature=related who plays for the Giants. Brandon wasn't our best running back when he was here. It was a guy by the name of Arkee Whitlock. Another one of are better running backs was Deji Karim..

Deji is a lot like Chris Johnson except with a brain. Kill also had Muhammad Abdulqaadir who did not make the NFL because of his name and 9/11. ESPN did a documentary on him I believe.

We had a transfer from Minnesota many years ago by the name of Terry Jackson..he wasn't good enough to be on our team, but Kill did give him some carries.
Kill's backs at NIU look to be pretty solid too. I fully expect the Gophers to have a stable full of running backs again. Of course, they may already be there
