Average RPI of Opponents: 177.75
Average RPI of Home Opponents: 186.555
NCAA Qualifiers (2): Cornell, Purdue
Top 100 (4): Purdue (20), Baylor (56), Providence (72), Kansas State (81)

The Good?: Usually coaches load up on cupcakes in their first year at a new school. Anthony Grant went a different direction. The Tide will have opportunities to build a resume with games against Baylor, K-State, Providence and Purdue.

The (not so) Bad?: Ryan Wittman and the Cornell Big Red could be a dangerous season opener. The Big Red also return Ivy League Player of the Year Louis Dale from a squad that last season was up 12 on the Gophers at halftime.

The Ugly?: Alabama always seems to have at least one skilled, athletic forward (this season it's JaMychal Green), but it says here the Tide will crawl before they can walk. Look for the Tide to pull off a couple upsets, but a .500 season is likely in the offing.
