For those of you parking in the Northstar lot, just be aware that this is the lot which will become a research building next.

The plan is to begin construction on the Cancer/Cardiovascular Research Building in March 2011, with a projected opening in 2013. Of course the timeline could be pushed back due to the fact that there is no money anywhere (except in TV money apparently).

This is just a heads-up. You would be quite selfish to complain about a loss of parking for a few days a year when this building will provide many jobs working to cure cancer and heart disease.

Aha! BUT What if said complainer and current NorthStar Lot tailgater IS one of those jobs working to cure cancer and heart disease, but would rather have the building built away from said complainer's favorite football stadium and tailgating lot?
:D J/K Actually the new buildings planned to be built around the stadium will only add to the scene around stadium village.
