Our 5 remaining games are all very winnable

I would say, how about more "true" play-action calls.

But then, our receivers can't get open ... so all that leads to is our QB getting smashed by their DL once they figure out it's not a run. :(
We do run true play action. Half the passes that the announcers call RPO are true play action

OK. Why aren't those working?

If we have Mo in there, who continues to will his way to 100+ yards per game on sheer brute force and talent .... why aren't those fake hand-offs drawing the LB's up and giving us room to hit pass plays for 8-10 yards or more??

Would love to see a continuous cut-up film of all those plays back-to-back over the last 3 weeks.

They are kind of working:
Against Purdue we threw a pass that bounced off the chest of a touchdown for a pick.

Against Illinois we ran a slot fade to our number 1 receiver and the number 1 receiver didn’t battle back to an underthrow ball (because Qb faced some pressure) and it was picked.

Wideout makes a play in either case and it’s a great offensive play.
O line a little better in the second case and it’s a great offensive play (assuming a longer throw)
As is, they are bad plays.
Sometimes guys gotta make plays.

The offense is the offense. I’m not surprised by what we are doing and not doing. Same offense since 2017. Guys gotta make plays. That’s still on coaches but in a different way.

Yes, guys gotta maka plays. Sure.

But if they just haven't made those plays, and aren't making those plays, 3 weeks in a row ..... you just say "well, damn! Guess we aren't gonna make plays this year ... better luck next year!"

You don't try anything different? Man, that's dissappointing.

We are doing stuff different. We are throwing more to the tight end that we have in recent years.
We are running more outside zone than inside zone.
We are throwing more to slots and #3 wideouts than the widest guy than we have in the past.

It’s not necessarily working so it all looks like the same white noise. But we aren’t doing the same things play after play.
