Oudoor club/ DQ lounge question

If you get access to the DQ lounge are drinks free? Is the food and drink better than the concourse? Is it a pretty old and conservative crowd?

Basically, anyone feel it is worth it?

I guess the outdoor club gets a little shelter from the elements via the press box and premium build out over the south side of the stadium. In looking up there, It doesn't seem like the outdoor club gets much relief from the weather compared to the rest of us though. Perhaps someone who has seats up there could respond?

The Indoor club... yes, of course.

Don't have seats up there, but you do get club-room access with the outdoor club seats (which is I think what the "avoiding the weather" comment is about); if it really turned crappy you could go indoors and watch in the club room (but then, why not just watch at home in the first place?)

Nicer bathrooms with no lines

better access to food/beer/wine

it certainly has extra value....your wife would appreciate it more than you.

Outdoor club is great for the November games. Also, if your seats are in the right location, you are protected from the rain, unless it is coming at a bad angle.

I'd rather watch at home than sit behind glass with a bunch of strangers where you feel oh so close yet so far away. Buy some great outdoor seats on the 50 and enjoy the atmosphere. If you're worried about weather, find seats in the last couple of rows in the first deck. Regarding food and drink, stop at a nice restaurant before and/or after the game. My 2-cents.

That's actually an enjoyable way to watch a game. Nice change of pace once in awhile. Move up and down the field with the line of scrimmage.

I sat in the outdoor club for a Vikings game last year because I had free tickets. Good seats, free food and drinks without having to wait in long lines.

food is not better in the DQ club, I think the food sucks there as bad as the concourse. Concourse has stuff like the Mayslacks stand which is pretty good.
I don't like the atmosphere sitting in those seats since they are so empty generally. And it's just plain cold on that side of the stadium.
The only benefits are the chance to warm up at half time, and the bathrooms, but I rarely wait in the cheap seats either.
Basically, the only reason to buy those seats would be access to booze which our progressive state voted down. So, that section never really took off.

Thanks. I was kind of hoping/dreaming that it was all inclusive. I will be down for Kent and they are $79 on Living Social. Too much for just seats but if it was all you can eat/drink, very enticing.

I've had outdoor club seats since the stadium opened. And I guess since I renew every year it must say I like them. But they could have done so much more. They could have made the coat room a small Goldy's locker (they have stands in the concourse but not in the DQ lounge), they should maybe re-think the greeters at the top of the escalators with a former player, or someone people might recognize. The food choices are pretty good, but the concourse sometimes offers greater depth. Still the bathrooms are better, the DQ seating before, after and even during the game cannot be beat, the view is very good, so all around I say they're pretty good seats. Going on my seventh year, with two other season tickets in seats I haven't sat, I'd say for $79 take the deal.

The OUTDOOR club seats are OUTDOORS and are on the 50. They also give you access to the DQ Club, if you so choose. You are NOT sitting behind glass in the outdoor club seats.
