Ouchs!!!

This doesnt really mean anything, but it is kinda cool to look at. The kids who were part of the whole rape case just had to go though. Guilty or innocent I think it was the best decision to have them go else where and get a fresh start. Good luck to all of them. I am guessing its a little hard for Brock to get pumped up for games after a year of Big 10 football but good luck to the kid if he tries to make it in the league.

curtis thomas

I think I read an article in ESPN magazine mentioning Curtis Thomas is playing at Texas Southern. Apparently that program has quite a few bcs school transfers.

Curtis transferred to St. Thomas, and I believe he really likes it there, and is doing very well!

He is not listed on the football roster. Strange he isn't playing football. There is a Curtis Thomas on the TXS roster but he is listed as a Freshman.

curtis thomas article

The ESPN article concerning Texas Southern I referenced in an earlier post, http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/insider/news/story?id=4511278

Linebacker Curtis Thomas, a Texan who started as a true freshman at Minnesota but never felt comfortable in Minneapolis, says Cole's manner won him over too, even after Googling him and reading about Cole's previous problems: "He's a fighter," Thomas says, "and that's one thing I liked when I considered coming here."

Harold Howell??

Brock is hugely missed. Hudson who knows?

Daniels is irrelevant as he would have used up his eligibility last year if he hadn't had issues and transferred.

I know he wasn't liked but Spry is one of the few who played and (along with Daniels), the only one who landed at a BCS school. I think he would have played- although how much who knows?

Certainly there are no game changers, except Brock and leaving was his fault, in that list.

Very interesting to see where these guys are now.

Here are a couple more to make the list more complete:

Shane Potter and Jimmy Thompson are the starting safeties for University of South Dakota. Both are sophomores.

USD is in their first year of FCS football. They are 3-2 so far this year.

Potter-32 tackles (leads team) 1 int
Thompson-29 tackles

I believe both of Spry's parents are professors at Auburn which is why he ended up at a BCS level school. He isn't on scholarship.
