Perhaps. When’s the last time you’ve heard someone use the phrase “Grace is with your presence” without irony?

Also, I meant as a slight against the 5 stars that leave the state.

At a time when 5 stars seek most proven coaches and surest routes to the NBA, he’s in a unique position to demonstrate that his pro aspirations benefited from choosing Pitino/Minnesota.

Correct.

Are people really not seeing that this post is basically him saying "I wish more of my fellow Minnesotan high-level recruits would give the U a fair chance. I believe that, sooner rather than later, you're going to see a 5* commit to the U!"

Nothing more to read into it than that, in my opinion.

Some coaches likely have him as a 5 star. I can not think of a single coach that looks at a internet site for a player ranking . The data shows that the first 75 4 stars will out perform most of the 25 5 stars. So many of the coaches are so much better at evaluation and what they envision for their program. Izzo sees Tre as a 5 star because he sees him as playing like Cleeves or Winston.
 

The HBCUs seem poised to start taking from the blue bloods. We're going to have to fight HBCUs, blue bloods, and the G-League for these players. Our odds are getting worse, not better.

Money is going to be the biggest factor in future recruiting. What are the new rules? Who can find loopholes the fastest? Who offers the most money? Pretty wide open to those willing to pay, those willing to establish relationships with companies, and those willing to be innovative.

Not too many families not going to the highest bidder.

The amount of Money offered to a player is going to be the biggest factor in future recruiting under new NCAA rules allowing schools to pay players. True or False
Players will generally accept the offer which offers significantly more money. True or False

False. Schools are not going to be paying the players. Payment on likeness is on the player and that is still a ways away. Right now all monetary issues are on hold.

Technically yes, but don't tell me that the schools won't be going out and "organizing" information packets about the financial opportunities that players will have in their respective markets that will find there way to recruits. I am sure that alumni or other advocates, within universities or out, will put together packets about companies that look forward to the opportunity to use players likeness.
