Not only did it fall, it got crushed. McCowan went on to secure 25 rebounds for the game to total 92, and she has another game left.

Don't remember a semifinal round, men or women, that had two games that were so dramatic and so much fun to watch. And, yes, UConn going down after forcing the OT was icing on the cake.

I heard that announcer say that, too, but:
a. This is the first year I've seen him covering women's basketball or the women's Final Four.
b. I beg to differ. The semis were terrific but this final was a sloppy mess.

I grant you the final was not clean, but you just can't beat a game winning shot like that. I have to tip my hat to an amazing comeback and finish by Notre Dame.
