On that forward pitch by nerBraska for the go ahead touchdown, couldn't they have technically called "illegal man down field". There were lineman 5 yards off the line.

I wasn't watching closely, but if the RB was still behind the line when he caught it, then it's fine that linemen were downfield -- it's like a screen pass in that case. But again, I have no idea if he actually was behind the line. If not, then yes, it should've been a penalty.

On a related note, what a stinker by Michigan. I know teams get better/worse during the season, but Michigan does not look very good at all today.

Anyone see how badly BYU ran their offense at the end of that game? It probably wouldn't have mattered, but they ran the ball down 10 with about 30 seconds left.

#1: They ran the ball. What the hell?!?
#2: They should have kicked a field goal.

After they ran the ball, they ran a pass play and the QB scrambled all over the field using up the rest of the clock.
 


Welp, Nebraska winning puts a kink in things for us and our BTCG hopes. Maybe we hope to win out, MSU wins out except for us and loses to OSU, OSU goes to NCG, we get Rose Bowl invitation?

Scored with 4 minutes left to take a 3 point lead and NC State gets the ball back and throws a pick 6 on the first play. Duke is going to be 7-2 and have winnable games in 2 of their last 3. They are as big of a story as we are...

I know it's raining like mad, but holy bawls the Miami-VT game is empty. They have 1 loss and are leading their division and ranked #11. It's raining but 78 degrees. Anyone complaining about our attendance needs to look at the other "U"

I've never liked Virginia Tech very much, but I do so like to see Miami lose. 7-7 game late in 1st.
 

Miami playing "how can I piss this game away" early today. 3 turnovers already. 3rd one was the punter taking a knee on a low snap. Virginia Tech gets the ball on the Miami 15 up 14-7...

Just imagine if Nate Andrews stayed committed to the Gophers our defense would be so much better. He is playing really good for FSU. I believe he has around 4 interceptions 2 today Duke Riley is also playing this year for LSU. Kill and company are definitely recruiting the right players. Maybe this winning streak can entice some to committ.

Once again the targeting rule goes too far. Pittsburgh QB lowers his head at the last second while outside the pocket and his helmet connects with the helmet of a Notre Dame defender. They throw the penalty and didn't reverse it.

Wouldn't you interpret the word "targeting" as purposely going at someone's head? If the QB continues to run as he was, that would have been a perfect tackles with the head/shoulder into the guy's gut. Seriously, if this is considered targeting, then it can easily be called a half dozen times a game, if not more.
 

UNLV leads Utah State 17-14 with 9 minutes to go in the third. If they hang on, they will be bowl eligible.
