Other Games Thread - Week 7

They very well could lose by 30. Georgia Tech is going to go down to Duke. Another Top 25 team falls by the wayside.

We could be close to being ranked in the USA Today poll after this weekend. We should pass Georgia Tech, Missouri, and BYU for sure and maybe UCLA if they get blown out. Also, USC and LSU have a shot at losing.

Mora and his D coordinator just had a heated exchange on sideline that ended with the DC taking his headset off and giving Mora his play sheet and trying to walk away and Mora had to go stop him.

Lmao you serious?! That's awesome! Wish I would've seen it, haha!

Yeah the DC is back calling plays with the headset on so it looks like whatever Mora was able to say to him it convinced him to put his headset back on and call plays again/.

It's another Saturday afternoon where I need four TVs in the living room. We have two in the living room but there are still too many good games at once. I need to convince my wife that this is the way to go:

TCU looking good against Baylor. Our one loss so far could potentially be to a playoff team.

Michigan St. is struggling with Purdue, only up 24-17 at the half. Purdue with 234 yards in the first half.

I'd vote 'thumbs up' except for the in wall loudspeakers... spending that much on screens and video deserves much better audio.

Purdue back within a touchdown with 6 minutes left. They are not going down easy. Their offense looks to be decent if not good.

Oklahoma St. is only up 3 at Kansas. We could even pass them in the rankings if they lose to Kansas.

We lost by 23. #5 Baylor currently losing by 21....

I know. I know...

How do people sit through these Big 12 games every week? They take 7 hours to finish.

Serious question: Do these southern "spread" teams just not give two sh$#s about defense?

Looks like Michigan is at full strength vs. PSU after a scare:

"Michigan head coach Brady Hoke addressed rumors today that one of his starting offensive skill position players would be suspended over accepting money in exchange for autographed memorabilia.

“We have investigated the accusations, and there will be no suspension,” said Hoke. “This is not a Todd Gurley situation. While the player did attempt to profit from his likeness, there was no market for the memorabilia. He did not get a single offer. He didn’t make a single cent. So there is nothing to punish.”

The initial reports that the player had received compensation was just a simple misunderstanding.

“Yes, there was one guy who offered him nine dollars for a football,” said Hoke. “But then he saw that it had writing all over it, and said he was no longer interested. That’s the closest it got to an actual transaction occurring.”

Hoke said he is proud of his program.

“People want to focus only on wins and losses, but there’s something to be said for running a clean program, too,” he said. “I’m proud of the fact that none of our players are good enough to be paid by anyone for anything.”

173 combined offensive plays with 6 minutes left in regulation. Baylor already close to 100 themselves. Already 4 hours long.

Don't like that play call by TCU on 4th and 3.

I don't like the decision to go for it, unless they think that beating Baylor would be a fluke. Man up and play some defense for 90 seconds.

And that pass interference call was garbage just now.
