The Pirate sure likes to have his team throw the ball, but winning is another story.
 

-23 yards rushing in the half on three carries (really just one carry as two of the attempts were sacks).
 

WSU will likely finish 2-10. Then what?
 

It's Washington St. They will give him another year or two. They are better than they were 2 years ago, so there is improvement. They need defense and offensive line help big time.
 



Do you think Leach is able to make jokes like "Son, if you don't stop spitting during practice I'm going to send you to the shed."?
 

Stanford sure looks like they could have used David Cobb this year.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Hard to win every week in the SEC. And I don't even think Auburn is that elite either.

Won't be as much poll shake-up this week as Week 6, but there should be enough to get a Big Ten team in the top 5, provided Sparty doesn't spit the bit @ Purdue. ESPN can't have that. ESPN will need to rekindle its all-out assault on the Big Ten now that it's becoming very plausible a Big Ten squad could make the CFP (and there's more than one candidate).

Illini up 14-7 on Wisconsin. Can you imagine the dumpster fire in Madison if Illinois somehow upsets them? Long way to go, but fun to consider...

Up 14-0 against Baylor. As of now it looks like our only loss is against a potential Playoff team! Crazy to think about considering how down we were after that TCU game.

Sure, but the bigger prediction is, would either or both drop out of the top-10 with a loss? Notice how far they climbed last week; how short their defeated opponents fell. SEC bias, gotta love it.

Even if Auburn loses by 30, I bet they stay in the top 10.
