Other Games Thread Week 3

That gap between the Wisconsin schedule and the Gopher schedule might not as wide as I first thought. I am starting to think Rutgers, and more so Maryland, will not be such easy marks in the Big Ten. Meanwhile Michigan and Ohio State aren't as strong as they typically are.

Of course our QB play hasn't been very good but it'd be nice if we had a WR who could catch a 5-yard hitch, make a few guys miss, and take it to the house, or go up and make a play on a fade that isn't perfectly thrown. We haven't seen that recently either. Our QB's have taken the majority of the blame for a struggling pass offense despite all aspects of it needing work and development.

Both Jones and Williams have shown they can do those things.

Jones has scored 1 career TD and that was mainly because of a mistake made by the DB. He has shown flashes but I'd hardly call him a proven playmaker. I think he has won maybe 1 jump ball that I can remember, and that was against Wisconsin last year, despite having multiple chances. Maxx Williams has definitely shown he can win a jump ball but I'm talking strictly about the WR position.

Georgia Southern has more fans at Georgia Tech than home team. 26 straight points to take lead.

Tevin Coleman is pretty good.

Oregon kicker tripped on XP. A bit of humor.

Indiana-Bowling Green keeps going back and forth. Coleman just scored his 3rd TD and has 150 yards on the ground early into the 4th. I wouldn't be surprised if he leads the Big Ten in rushing. Could rack up 1600+. Indiana up 35-32.

Hoosier D looks bad. Coleman looks great.

Eastern Illinois down 31-13 late 3rd to Illinois State.

Golden Flashes getting Urban's wrath. Looks like Spence is gone for drug use.

Maryland, West Virginia tied 37-37 with over 1,000 yards combined offense.

So, really awesome offenses, or terrible defenses, or both?

This Maryland game is pretty good I must say. Blocked field goal with 4 minutes to go. Fun to watch.

ECU beats Va Tech and Va Tech lucky to be in the game.

Ferentz calls timeout on a mused field goal only for ISU o nail the second try, aaaaaahaha!!!!! This is a BAD Iowa team, where did the hype come from???

They certainly don't look good, but I seem to remember people saying the same thing last year before they absolutely ****-stomped us on our home field. Just saying. But yeah, it would be sweet if they suck andd we got Floyd back...

How the hell is Purdue hanging around with ND? I don't think ND is some juggernaut this year, but I expected them to win this one going away. Transitive property of FB: Mich<ND<PU<Central Mich<Syracuse

Purdue-ND is interesting. USC-BC is worth checking out. How can Louisiana-Monroe be playing LSU tougher on the road than we played TCU?
