Other Games Thread Week 2

was just looking at the box for Arkansas-Toledo; how do you throw for 412 yards and only score 10 points? wow

i missed the ND miracle finish as I suffered through our OT, but man, how cool would it have been for VA to hold on? I still think GT beats 'em, but this one would've been nice to slow down the ND hype machine.

Very questionable call by Oregon there. How do you not use your speed on the edge there?

TCU 70, Stephen F Austin 7

Adams goes from a fantastic play to throwing a total duck.

Big win for the B10 from Mich St. Man Kirk has a hard on for Adams though

So good thing 10 SEC teams were ranked in the top 25 this week. That was clearly deserved.

MAC ALERT!
Ohio (2-0). Beat Marshall who beat Purdue
Toledo over Arkansas

And Wisconsin plays them both.

Don't worry it evens out next year we get them while Wisconsin has to play OSU, MSU, Michigan, and at jNW. If ever there's a year set up for us to be the favorites in the B1G West, that's it

BYU. another heave and catch

Tennessee offers an incredible atmosphere. At least I was able to enjoy some great games following the gophs. It would have been difficult had we not pulled out the victory

I'm so glad these polls don't mean anything anymore. What is he thinking?

They were gritty in their come from behind win against a 41 point underdog. Great mental toughness /s

Maryland and Rutgers

Pretty good chance both will have new coaches next season, if not sooner?

Wow, I hadn't noticed that. Gopher 2016 schedule looks really favorable, one you have to take advantage of. And Wisconsin not only plays those 3 teams, they open @ Michigan, @ Michigan State, and home vs. Ohio State. Very easily could be a 1-2 (or worse) start for the Badgers. If Gopher QB position is up to snuff next season, thinking 2016 is the one that has a chance to be really special (New Year's 6 bowl).

Could see a lot of changes in the East this year/offseason. My guess is Indiana will have a new coach as well. Maybe Penn St.? It would be ridiculous since he just got there, but it is Penn St. so anything is possible.

TCU looking very ordinary so far. Granted, just a couple drives in, but dropped pass, punt, and now SFA just got a 1st down in TCU territory.

The start of the game was a real head-scratcher. After a couple really bad punts last Thursday in Minneapolis, I thought that weird video on your video board was what jacked with our punter. But after the 14-yard punt at home against SFA on Saturday on the first TCU drive, I think our Senior scholarship punter has grown complacent. They yanked a red shirt off a freshman later in the game---guess they're going to open that job up for competition.

I've managed to catch the last 5 minutes and both Hail Josephs of both BYU games, and man are they auditioning to join the Big 12 or what? They're at UCLA this week, at Michigan the week after that, and play Mizzou in Kansas City later in the season. The rest of their schedule is a smattering of AAC and MWC schools. I think we'll find out how good they are at UCLA this week, but they have been the most fun team to watch through weeks 1 and 2.

Was a very fun game v Boise St. Could be those two games propel them to a magical season, although I still think UCLA may be a sleeper final four pick. So I'd expect the bubble to burst this weekend.
