UNLV, San Jose State and New Mexico State all won today.

UNLV could go bowling this year. Who would have thought?

San Jose St. was down 23-7 early on and won 51-44 over Wyoming. Fales went for 482 with 5 TD.

That was NMSU first win.

my dvr caught Houston vs. Rutgers, notable only in that I got a look at David Gibbs on the sidelines. He is the defensive coordinator. And then tonight its Fresno State vs. San Diego State. And the running backs coach.... Jeff Horton.

Did Houston end up winning? I saw they were up early...something like 28-14

New Mexico State won 34-29 over Abilene Christian University. According to Wikipedia, ACU is a D-II school transitioning to D-I, but they don't yet count as a D-I school. Abilene Christian took a 22-21 lead and kept it through the third quarter. NMSU retook the lead on a field goal on the first play of the 4th.

ACU scored a TD with 19 seconds left, got the onside kick, and had time for one play. They had a holding call so they were at their own 21. They then threw a 59 yard pass, lateraled it for 14 more yards, and was tackled at the 6 as time expired.

I guess a win is a win, but they got a big scare.

UNLV beat Nevada 27-22, they only need to win one of their remaining 4 games to become bowl-eligible. The win against UNLV looks to look at least a little better than it seemed at the time.

They crushed Rutgers 49-14.

Oregon St. just punted when down two scores and 4:30 left in the game.

Edit: Just as I posted it, Stanford fumbles and Oregon St. has the ball around the 20. That must have been their plan all along.

Oregon St. has it 2nd and goal down 8 with :16 seconds left. Just a bit ago, they showed a bunch of their fans leaving early when they were down 11.
