Iowa beats Northwestern 17-10 in OT.

I think Venric Mark should win the Heisman because it's obvious he's really valuable.

Mods: I didn't see a thread, but if one has been started, merge this one please.

I know there was little scoring in the Iowa-NW game, but that was the fastest game I've seen in a long time. It went to OT, and the game was done before 2:00.

Miami escaped with a win over a bad Wake Forest. They needed to score late to get the win.

How the hell does Michigan St have the best defense in the nation. Or did I hear that wrong? Illinois had 1st and goal on the 3, and 3rd and 4th down from the half yard line and got stuffed. Michigan st took the ball there and is walking down the field on Illinois. It's a shame we didn't get the Illini this year. 7-3 Mich St right now late in 2nd...

Two Illinois defenders got their hands on the ball and Michigan St. still catches the TD. Crazy play.

Game over. Wasn't that the craziest play you've seen since some Gopher plays 10 years ago? Unbeleivable. I'm always happy to see that is happens to other teams too. I think that is the end for Illinois. Plenty of time left, but that is killer.

Duke now up 13-0.

A VA Tech loss would really hurt Florida St. If Florida St. goes undefeated they would want to play the highest ranked VA Tech team they can in the ACC championship.

Not as much offense so far in the TT-Oklahoma game as I thought there would be. Tied 7-7 late in the 2nd quarter. I thought this was going to be a 45-42 type of game (it still can be I suppose).

I still think Oregon will lose to either UCLA (not likely) or Stanford (pick'em). Not sure who can beat Alabama, but it can happen. Granted they could go 3-9 and probably get grandfathered into the nation championship game...

If Alabama can somehow lose, I really hope Oregon stays undefeated. It's not that I like Oregon (I hate them), but an Oregon-Florida St. match up would be fun.

Something else I thought of earlier today. If somehow Alabama, Oregon, Florida St., and Ohio St. stay undefeated, and Florida St. somehow stays ranked higher than Oregon, the result would be Bama-Florida St. in the NC and Oregon-Ohio St. in the Rose Bowl.

There are some huge match ups in the SEC this week. Auburn has Florida International, Ole Miss has Idaho and LSU will lock horns with Furman.

Ya, those games should really be popular in Vegas.

Don't speak so damn quick. Furman giving LSU everything they want. Last I saw was 20-13 LSU with Furman driving...

I need more screens in my basement. Trying to pay attention to USC/Missouri, Oregon/UCLA, tOSU/PSU, World Series, and the Wild game. I should go to a bar.

Get the Genie. Tape 5 things at once. I got Wild taping and watching UCLA v Oregon which is a great game. I did watch OU finally put away Texas Tech for the Raiders first loss of the year. TT's true freshmen quaterback brigade wasn't up for the big game today...

Where did this Missouri team come from? Did they have a bunch of injuries last year? They were not very good last year at all.

20-16 LSU over a game Furman at the half.

Now that would be a fun upset. Not even sure the game is on tv...

Injuries or not, what a circus at Northwestern. They came into B1G play with discussion of them as a contender for the B1G title (or at least for a crack at playing OSU in the title game). Now all of a sudden they are 0-4, and I believe Nebraska, Michigan, and Michigan State still on the schedule. They could realistically finish 1-7. This has to be a miserable stretch for those fans, you finally feel like you have arrived, have some momentum, and then this collapse happens. I imagine they feel like we did after 7-1 turned into 7-6 in 2008. I feel for them (though I don't feel bad about the Gophers contribution to this losing streak).

You are correct Sir, Furman has their Chili hot tonight. I would love to see them win.

Oregon misses a late field goal. 14-14 at half. UCLA has some fantastic freshmen on their team. They are going to be a force going forward.

Oregon and UCLA tied at half. I thought this game would be a little higher scoring than just 14-14 at the half.

How about Duke finishing off Virginia Tech in Blacksburg? I watched the end of that one. Duke is also 6-2 and just broke a 47 game losing streak to ranked teams. There are BCS teams that have it worse than us...

My wife said it was her turn on the tv, so 2 episodes of The Walking Dead are coming before I watch the end of Oregon and UCLA...

I'll butcher this, but I saw a tweet similar to this earlier: Minnesota, Duke, and Tulane are bowl eligible before Nebraska, Texas, USC, Florida

USC/Missouri got interesting after USC woke up.

Tied with :42 left. Was 17 - 0 Mizzou

I can't think of a worse way to lose a game and undefeated season like Missouri did tonight. Kicker misses a short FG that would have sent the game to 3 OT.

UCLA's offense is to blame for their loss today. The defense held Oregon in check for a good part of the game but the offense just sucked.

Penn St. is very beatable.
