Osseo recruits for 2012

I see both have played in all 23 games for the 21-2 basketball team. I know that Osseo had a couple good athletes playing QB last year. I like that Kill is already finding kids that are not on anyone's radar. Get them thinking Maroon and Gold early.

Wow, thats nice video. Can't teach 6'7" and athletic, looks like he has a great frame too for added muscle. I'm 100% behind this offer, looks like a sleeper. Of the 30 or so MN Jr's I've heard mentioned this winter I've never heard Johnson's name...... and he some some of the best video I've seen. Like it!

I just posted a story on Will Johnson and will get a story up on D.J. Hebert later this week.

Yo! Osseo Head Coach Derrin Lamker. One of the all-time great Augsburg Auggie QBs.

Johnson has some real athletic ability. Looks to have great hands and concentration and has some quicks when he gets going. Seems to have great instincts as well. Great kid to offer.

Good stuff as always Chris. Sounds good for the Goph's chances.

Youtube video of Hebert as a sophomore at Cooper.

I always find it difficult to gauge an option QB's speed from film. It's obvious Hebert has some serious wheels, but he's got such wide running lanes due to the fakes and the option it isn't easy (at least for me) to figure out if he's that much faster than the defensive players or if the scheme is giving him so much open space.

No question he's great in the open field. Seems to read his downfield blocks very well, especially given that he was a sophomore when this was filmed.

I found this video on Johnson. He looks like the type of blocking TE Kill is looking for, and shows some athleticism in the passing game.

Daaaaaaang. I'm impressed.

Between him and Dominic Ramacher we could have some impressive recievers and helacious blockers for our RB's.

This is quite the coincidence, Kim and I were at the Osseo/Maple Grove game on Friday and I was telling him about Big Will before he came into the game. My daughter attends Osseo so I have seen several basketballl and football games this season. I was telling Kim will is the type of kid that usually flys under the radar only to wind up as an All-American at ND, NDSU, SD or SDSU.

Hebert looks like the type of player Coach Kill is after. Speed and good running instincts.

I feel like he could be a hellacious tackle in a couple years. Either way, sign him up.

The kid sure has a natural ability to operate in a state of chaos. Now that is unteachable. Might make a heck of a hybrid RB/WR.

You said it better than I did. He seems to have tremendous instincts and an innate ability to find the open field. Good looking prospect.
