The last 2 games, opposing qb's have completed 52/60 for over 600 yards. Add in the Michigan State Qb throwing for over 300 yards in his first start the game before. qb's could play against air and not be much better.
If either the DB coach or defensive coordinator, or both aren't fired it would be a travesty.

We need to talk about Fleck's inability to hire good coordinators. Remember Rob Smith (shudders). Outside of Rossi and Cirrocia he's been horrible.

Just looked up the box score. You would’ve thought we were playing 83 cornhuskers for how good Northwestern’s numbers look.

Not many times you lose time of possession 19:12 to 40:48 and give up 70 plays of offense on defense and your in the football game with a chance to tie or win. The defense didn't barely execute a stop. I mean if we could have generated even one stop or a take away on defense they would have a shot to win, or even make one FG. Who would have thought they would miss Devin Williams and Nestor that much. I thought # 13 Geralds or 4 Bryan were capable as CB. Was not a good game. #3 Karmo doesn't know where to be on field, or what zone to play in coverage. #49 Kingsbury not fast enough to cover tight ends or WR. It was a complete breakdown in coverage, but I still didn't think the 10 yard cushions were necessary today. That is giving up before even trying. Sad to see the defense regress this much. Worse effort this year.

Don’t forget the QBs for Purdue, Cal and OSU…

Gronowski pretty much did whatever he wanted as well despite his stats not being gaudy.

Don’t forget Athan’s first half either.

Pretty much all of us knew today's performance (or lack thereof) was possible. This situation did not apply to previous Fleck Defenses.

This is approaching the first 6 months of the 2018 squad and the answer there was to fire the DC. Pretty sure Coach understands this.
