Most of the other preseason true freshmen All Americans probably haven't played a game either ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ (in fact, I'd bet it's true for all of them)

He probably received a little leg up by being the MVP of the 2024 All-American Bowl for high school players. Not a bad day by the way, he made a diving interception and blocked a punt, which contributed significantly to his team’s victory. Also, I see several other players from the 2024 All-American Bowl have been named to the On3 Preseason True Freshman All-American team as well.
