Ohio State is barring Dave Portnoy from entering its stadium for the Buckeyes' season opener against Texas, sources told FOS.

I am not surprised that you had no idea the #1 vs #3 teams were playing against each other the opening weekend of college football.

And I am not surprised the reactive board mega-d***** a) believed this story was real for even a second and b) rips on fans for not following or caring about the weekly schedule of other teams. I don’t know who plays week 1 of the NFL. I don’t care. The regular college season matters far, far less now. I’m not going to be hanging on every minute of the Buckeyes/Longhorns unless it happens to be a good game in the second half then I’ll probably tune in. Badgers or Hawkeye games - more interesting to me.

I don’t know when or who they play this week either.

Didn’t you quit the team last year?

I get you don't like his politics, but how is Dave Portnoy any different than the thousands of a-holes who talk sh!t during college rivalries? What will he say that's so bad about Ohio State that isn't said on every message board, in every stadium, every single Saturday between rivals?

This is OHIO STATE. They are the biggest bullies in the entire league and Gopher fans are defending them banning a guy who will say mean stuff about them? LOL.
But here's my issue with Fox hiring Portnoy at all: he'll now be working for the Big 10's largest rights holder for its most prominent games, and his role, apparently, is to be a Michigan troll. Go ahead and do that on Barstool's dime and time, but to do that when you're supposedly representing the entire conference? Don't be surprised when that shit gets old fast with the other 17 conference schools and their fan bases. It looks like it's already started.
