In my opinion, it's college football. Some fan of a rival saying mean stuff about his rival is what makes it fun. Let him in and let him watch OSU smash UT.

I don't see how it's a lose for Ohio State, especially if they won.

I get you don't like his politics, but how is Dave Portnoy any different than the thousands of a-holes who talk sh!t during college rivalries? What will he say that's so bad about Ohio State that isn't said on every message board, in every stadium, every single Saturday between rivals?

This is OHIO STATE. They are the biggest bullies in the entire league and Gopher fans are defending them banning a guy who will say mean stuff about them? LOL.

I think for a lot of people it’s just that the guy is a massive asshole.

Sexual assault allegations, posting a pic of a 2 year old boy and commenting on the size of his dick and refused to air the pic down, and this


And I know someone who did a thing with him, a bit for barstool, and the guy would not stop creeping on her, she would not give him her phone number so he sent tons of creepy messages via DM.

He is a piece of shit, and michigan deserves him as a fan.

Ohio State vs Texas is literally the biggest game of the weekend and will likely be one of the biggest games of the season until the playoffs start. Why would they need to manufacture anything for free advertising? Who's sitting on their couch thinking I wasn't going to watch this game but now that Ohio State may have banned Portnoy, I'm tuning in? No one.

As far as your friend who he hit on, ok. That seems far fetched to me, but certainly possible. Billionaires don't typical have to goon out for average women - not because they're above it but because they're already fishing with dynamite.

But lets just say for the sake argument he did decide that he needed that one girl, who cares? He hit on a chick and then slid into her DMs. Douche? Sure.

Yeah, I don't think the joke is that big of deal. Tons of people have made r-jokes, some are funny and some aren't. No one honestly believes he thinks that a woman in skinny jeans should be sexually assaulted. No one believes that. People pretend that they think he believes that because they don't like his politics.

I'm not a Portnoy fan, I don't really watch Barstool stuff and I hate both Michigan and Ohio State equally, but not letting him into a game because he slid into a chicks DMs is odd.

As others have said, it looks like it's not even true. That doesn't surprise me. I would have been shocked if Ohio State wouldn't love for him to go to the game. They don't strike me as a program that is afraid of their rivals saying mean things.

Has nothing to do with his politics actually, has everything to do with how he treats women, his employees and his general attitude. I truly don't give a shit about his politics I have friends on both sides of the aisle. He is noticeably worse than the average a-hole.

Me? I had no idea they were playing this weekend. Then I see this thread.

Sidenote IDGAF prob won’t watch anyway, but if I do it’s more for the scouting value. They’re both in the playoff barring a massive flameout.

I am not surprised that you had no idea the #1 vs #3 teams were playing against each other the opening weekend of college football.
