This is a matchup that Clem the Gem would certainly love. Western Kentucky and Minnesota battling it out in an early season tournament game.

WKy is HUGE! We may not play a taller front line all year. We will have to pressure their guards and limit the number offensive rebounds they get. This is the type of game we will need to hit early 3s to pull some of their bigs out of the lane.

Should be a good test, sounds like they have a few guys who transferred down from high major, we have quite a few guys transferring up to high major. Seems like a game we can win, curious to see how it goes.
 


Gonna be a battle of short benches tonight. WKU played a 7 man rotation last game, with 4 guys playing 35+ min and 2 playing all 40.
Would be nice to get Thompson and Thiam some productive minutes to keep guys fresh, having fresh legs at the end of the game could make a difference

If Gophers win, championship game Sunday at 6:30 on ESPN2.
