How many more years do I have to wait for this program to be relevant again?

Not defending the Gophers, but not the same squad.Just for some perspective, this Green Bay squad was beaten last year by my Div 2 school known as Mich Tech.
Now now. No one wants that. Not even Ben Johnson. We want Ben Johnson back.
Believe it or not he was 7/11 on FT's before this game. They need to keep fouling this 22 guy he is atrocious.
You two taking about Niko Medved or Ben Johnson? Your comments sound awfully familiar.I’m going to give Niko some grace and he inherited nothing and had limited time to build the squad.Spot on. Niko needs some time to get the talent.

At least one.How many more years do I have to wait for this program to be relevant again?
Exactly. What are you trying to say? That the team has been practicing in an dirt lot with peach baskets as goals?
Although it doesn’t feel like a win either!Well. We didn't lose. Let us never speak of this again.
I was thinking he looked really rough all game. Can’t believe he expected to be in Green Bay this long. Apparently losing takes a lot out of a coach… and or is it the living in Green Bay part?Gottlieb looks like he did some lines at halftime
Here's the difference. Niko is in hist first year at a new school. He is adjusting to a more competitive level of play and establishing standards of play. Ben was continually adjusting and had no standards for his teams' play. You two taking about Niko Medved or Ben Johnson? Your comments sound awfully familiar.
Both had the wisdom of Thorson. Here's the difference. Niko is in hist first year at a new school. He is adjusting to a more competitive level of play and establishing standards of play. Ben was continually adjusting and had no standards for his teams' play.
You tend to look like that if you're in Green Bay or Superior too longI was thinking he looked really rough all game. Can’t believe he expected to be in Green Bay this long. Apparently losing takes a lot out of a coach… and or is it the living in Green Bay part?
All parties remain closeBoth had the wisdom of Thorson.
They are going to have to figure out how to run their offense against zone defense. It seems to really kill the great action and movement in the Medved offense. We just don't have a big man threat underneath so it is easier for the zone to create perimeter pressure as well.A team with 2 returning players...I'm willing to give the staff more time. I like a lot of what I see. They all need to just keep playing together.
It will be little remembered and long forgotten. All that matters is avoiding a bad loss.Although it doesn’t feel like a win either!

FWIW- Willis was a decent, not great 72% last year from the line- so maybe he gets that straightened out.I am an alum and long time season ticket holder. Towards the end of the game, there was a part of me that wanted to pull for GB (even though, in principle, I hate all Wisconsin teams). They were clearly the underdogs and played one helluva game. Let’s not forget that just three nights previously, they’d lost to St. Thomas by 20.
If this team shoots as poorly from 3 and from the line in the B1G, they will lose a lot of games no matter how many points Tyson scores. Exciting at the end, but brutal to watch. Once again, we have a starting point guard who is unreliable from the FT line.
Meanwhile, Nebraska defeats Oklahoma and scores 100 points while doing so. It’ll be a long season,
Nebraska was awful the first 25 minutes and trailed by 16. I'm afraid Oklahoma is not very good this year. I wouldn't be shocked if we beat Nebraska.I am an alum and long time season ticket holder. Aaaaaaand that matters how? Both had the wisdom of Thorson.
Nothing that Spaulding says matters. He is the board's final draft choice- Mr Irrelevant.Aaaaaaand that matters how?
