He was definitely a problem down low with his shot blocking ability. At 7'5" we seemed scared to go at him.

But I was surprised we didn't go at him when he was sagging way off Reynolds daring him to shoot. If you don't want to take the 3 then why not try to attack the basket some and force him to engage? Was weird seeing Reynolds standing all along outside the 3 pt line.

He can upgrade to their "Hunchback" or "Camel XL" models for an extra $4.99 + Shipping. The "Dolly Parton" model probably would be a poor choice for your buddy.

They did a nice job in the second half of forcing a switch and then taking advantage of that defense. We almost treated it like a 2-3.

FWIW I've also thought Muss was riding his father's coatails and is probably a closeted homosexual.
 



I think the most egregious thing that Muss did at the game was keep picking his teeth and then eating whatever he picked out! Anyone else catch that!
 


Just like they get all the credit in the world for beating Iowa last week, this was a shit loss. Call it like it is.

Hopefully they rebound and take it to Wisky.
 

There are 5 or 6 big ten power rankings posted after the wknd games. Most are from media of big ten teams.

Gophs rank in the 8 - 12 range. Badgers 6th - 8th.

Appears that 5 teams have separated themselves from the pack: Michigan, MSU, Nebraska, Purdue, Illinois.

CBS sports just put out a bracketology:

USC 2nd-leading scorer Chad Baker-Mazara abruptly out of the program with no explanation

USC says Chad Baker-Mazara is no longer part of its men’s basketball program. The team released a short statement that provided no explanation.

Asked if it was customary for Baker-Mazara to be sitting next to fans, Musselman said it was because of a shortage of chairs on the bench.

Baker-Mazara, a 26-year-old graduate student from the Dominican Republic, was MVP of the Maui Invitational, won by the Trojans in November.


USC was Baker-Mazara’s fifth school. He began his college career at Duquesne before transferring to San Diego State for his second season when he earned Mountain West Conference sixth man of the year honors.

He went from there to Northwest Florida State College for one season and transferred to Auburn for two seasons. He left Auburn to join USC for his final collegiate season.


The Trojans (18-11, 7-11 Big Ten) have lost five in a row heading into the final week of the regular season. They play Wednesday at Washington and host crosstown rival UCLA on March 7 before the Big Ten Tournament begins on March 10.
 


Be curious to see if Baker-Mazara still receives any sort of all conference honors. Not sure he would have been first team but his numbers certainly warrant second or third team consideration.

Not even close. He's the 41st ranked player in the league on Torvik. For reference, Tyson is #11, Reynolds is #23, and Durkin is #34.
