St. Louis playing as if their season is over if they lose. Gophers just trying to survive.

Encouraging that while the Gophers offense went to sleep in the second half, they showed why it's so important to play great defense.

St. Louis is averaging 8 3-pointers a game and shoot them well. Gophers did a great job of not giving up 3's.

French had his way inside in the first half. Not really a factor in the second half as the Gophers tightened up the defense in the lane.

Making free throws to keep some breathing room at the end of the game is encouraging.
