Leidner didn't pass very well early, but he took the team on his shoulders the 4th quarter. Claeys is not a head coach. Outcoached. We have way better athletes, yet barely escaped one of the worst teams from the PAC10. Better improve next week or Claeys will be on the hot seat for real.

There's a chance of injury though. No matter what we would have had to punt on 4th given the time on the clock and their two TOs. But we got bailed out by the penalty.

Disagree...why would you say that after this game...he did well last year, had a good off season showing leadership to fire two coaches that Kill wouldn't have done. Nothing went right tonight no doubt. Relax dude...don't jump to conclusions like this. If you do I wonder what you're work life and home life is like.

Really? This was on par with Kent State, Ohio, UNLV in Vegas, Colorado State, and on and on. Whether it's Kill or Claeys, thisvteams wins ugly.

If you can't tell he's not a strong leader, I question your ability to evaluate anything.

Claeys was 2-4 last year. The offense looked exactly the same as last year.

Sorry, but trying to judge a coach's 'leadership' based on an edited 15 second video clip is ridiculous.

What's your point? The biggest downfall of the Kill/Claeys era is they never beat a highly rated opponent. Mason did in year 3. By years 5-6 they should be able to knock off one of the big guys when they're not having a bad year.
 

Leidner running the ball 13 times is not a good thing for this team. At that rate, it is a matter of time before he is battling injuries or a step slower from getting hit so much. The back up situation is not good. They need to find a way to move the ball without Leidner taking so many hits.

They can't, and that's been the problem for several years.
 

And when he leads us nowhere and gets fired, guys like you always fail to remember your opinions and fail to admit you were wrong. This one is obvious. Claeys is a great guy, but he won't succeed here. Mark it down.

It would only be year one if Clayes and this coaching staff wasn't responsible for recruiting the majority of these players for the last 6 years.
