Great point. Announcers made it sound like a gutsy call to go for a 45 yd FG at end of half. If you're not confident of the kid making it, then maybe he shouldn't be your kicker.

Anyways, a bit rough in the first half. Those mistakes and penalties certainly made it tough. That being said, Gophers were at least able to take the lead at the half. Hope they come out with more fire in the second!

Unreal, have to wonder how that happens. You should check out the Twitter account @_youhadonejob1, apparently line painting mistakes happen more often than you would think.

Actually not funny. He could see our defensive tendencies and saw a big opportunity for OSU to exploit it. We kept blitzing and it was bound to happen. Bad defensive play calling when you are so predictable that Mason is picking it up in the announcer booth.

Slapshot.....Halftime here at the game. Mood of fans here not liking the offense. Great student crowd. Ralis looks like a dislocated or hyper extension of the elbow. OSU better and faster WR's.
 


Appalachian St is going to win. They are driving late in the 4th in a tie game...
 

I'm very nervous.

1) OSU WR's are running free all over the place. Their QB made several poor throws, or else this could be worse.
2) Offense is obviously looking about as anemic as possible. Squandered great field position twice. Leidner 36 yds passing?! OSU is playing 8 man boxes constantly, and yet we see barely anything out of the passing game, save a few flat routes. I'm puzzled.
3) Penalties. Yikes.

Someone said above they'd bet on OSU at this point, and I agree. Without those two amazing sacks by Devers, I don't think this game is close right now. Maybe 20 - 7 or so? Gonna have to be a drastically different half, IMO...

I will say, the new kicker has gotten a touch back every time. Happy about that.
