1-0. First game was fun, Dawson went off! There are some intriguing parts with this squad, and a fun double header. Our group is going to Sally’s to watch the football game and then to the Barn for hoops.

Omaha, somewhere in middle America
Get right to the heart of matters
It's the heart that matters more
I think you'd better turn your ticket in
And get your money back at the door

GET ‘ER DONE JOHNSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to getting to the Barn this afternoon and getting my first in person look at the new squad!

Hopefully the football team takes care of business and I don't have to miss the tip!

Hope they have football game on in the lobby before bb game starts

That was my first CD, I can’t help but sing that song every time I hear “Omaha”.

No TV because it’s on the Poppycock network. Listening to the game, but the Live Stats on the GopherSports site are not working.

Yucky so far. Bad way to follow up a letdown on the oblong ball side of things.

Super sloppy half and Omaha is not even a good team. They travel or throw it away routinely

But not too worried yet. A lot of teams have been sloppy in first halfs this year around hoops. Get to half reset and adjust.

The depth is nice. Everyone is just out of sorts and compounding with mental mistakes

If they lose, what’s the projection on the updated KenPom…, it can’t be good…Omaha is ranked 308

Odoukale and Edmonds are a bit limited. But they can both really move and cause some havoc in the paint which is nice. Providing a bit of spark to close the half on offense

So last year we had a solid amount of physical talent, but no depth.

This year we are very limited on physical talent outside of DG, but have solid depth.

A good coach probably has last year and this years team in bubble talk. Instead we have CBJ who in my opinion in a bottom 10 coach. My lanta he's embarrassing. What is this offense??

If they lose this, we're on hot seat watch by the December break.

Over the season I think the 3 biggest concerns are

-2nd scoring option(least concerned about this though). I think it'll be Mitchell but he's also having to focus on running the offense a lot

-Free throws. In true gopher fashion, this looks like a real problem again

-Guards that can penetrate. This is the biggest one. Tough to have a fluid offense in the BIG 10 if you don't have guards to take off the dribble and either get to the rim or cause hard close outs for kicks. Not sure who will be able to do that consistent against the grown men in that league.

Lord this team is terrible. For all the experience on this team you would think someone could score and make a free throw.
