It's Northwestern State Championship Week!!!! Both NW State and Minnesota are feeling good after opening weekend wins. Both sit at 1-0, something has to give!!

And guess what will give, NW State's defense which is going to get carved up by The Drake who showed arm strength and confidence.

I will say, this is a game I hope we get QB2, RB2, RB3, heck even RB4 some run. Fleck has a bit of Thibs in him and likes to wear down the horses, but it's a long season and we need to spare the hits while we can and we need to get reps for the depth. I see the value in Lindsey getting as many live reads as he can, but QB2 needs live reps as well.

Yes we need "a pair and a spare" at minimum.
 

















I want to see our OL and DL completely dominate the line of scrimmage today. Our play calling tends to get conservative against lesser opponents so I hope we still let Lindsey spin the ball a ton to continue developing a bond with his WR group.

The crowd at the Big 10 tailgate from Happy Valley on BTN is amazing.

If I had them all over for dinner, I might have to grab a couple folding chairs to accommodate them all.
