If you wanted to nitpick, there were a few dropped passes. and the DB's took a couple of late penalties.

outside of that, the Gophers controlled the game against an out-matched, and tired opponent. I thought NMSU really ran out of steam in the 2nd half after the short week.

also - Ruschmeyer injury. didn't hear any reports, so have to wait and see.

Axel looked fine he didn’t leave the sideline limping a little at the end but not bad. Was hot and sweaty the fellas will be tired. I don’t know that 18-22 year olds from NMSU were tired because they played 5 days ago they were just out classed. Mo and Potts are great and Williams real good fine at RB. Morgan sharp enough but why not use 5 some more? Well coached game—disciplined. D is great fun to watch.

As a casual observer who predicted a 43-0 gopher win I must say…NMSU is awful. They didn’t do anything well. They had 0 good players. What a mess. Gophers did their job? What else can you say?
